Outdoor kitchen along the garden wall: long kitchen unit in anthracite beside the dining area
A long kitchen run instead of a grill cart
This outdoor kitchen runs as a long line along a white-rendered garden wall. In front, the dining table and lounge area sit under a canopy. The fronts are all anthracite, with a gray countertop. On the right is a matte black Napoleon built-in grill with illuminated control knobs, next to a Napoleon built-in cooktop, and farther left a black Franke sink.
From left to right: open shelf, sink, drawers, cooktop, grill, drawers. The run is long enough to leave plenty of free countertop space between the appliances.
Wall-mounted: the kitchen along the wall
BIO Stefan outdoor kitchens are available in two mounting options. This kitchen uses the wall-mounted configuration with 270° access. The wall behind it provides shelter from the wind and defines the dining area. If you have more space behind the kitchen, you can alternatively plan an island with 360° access.
Drawers and cabinets along the entire length. The doors have perforations on the inside for ventilation. Find out more at Outdoor kitchens with drawers.
Open shelf at the left end of the run.
In summary: plenty of counter space, little depth
If you have a garden wall or house wall, a long wall-mounted kitchen run gives you the most counter space. As a slim run along the wall, the kitchen leaves room for the dining area. Plan your kitchen run in the Outdoor kitchen configurator, and find all models at Outdoor kitchens.
Frequently asked questions about wall-mounted outdoor kitchens
What kind of base does a wall-mounted outdoor kitchen need?
A flat, solid surface such as concrete slabs or paving, not soil or gravel. The adjustable feet are for fine-tuning.
Island or wall-mounted?
The wall-mounted configuration with 270° access saves space. An island with 360° access is suitable if you work around the kitchen.
