Beautiful design, very high quality and sturdy, good assembly instructions.
Tip: Have a cordless screwdriver with spare battery ready, as a lot of screws have to be turned. Our cordless screwdriver was broken. That's why we had to screw in over 100 screws by hand, which was very tiring. Now we are delighted with the great result.

Delivery came very quickly. I was asked beforehand whether I had measured correctly. I had ordered the wrong size. The forwarding agent took care of the customs clearance. Now the previous blanket looks really good. The only thing I found fault with was the assembly instructions. They are not very easy to understand.

Assembly was quite simple. The box makes a solid impression and proves itself in daily use.

Assembly was feasible so far, but it was extremely difficult to remove the protective film. Overall, the box is very good. Time will tell the rest...

Super container, problem-free delivery, only supplier with white color on offer.
But problematic assembly description, which I unfortunately had to get from the Internet first. The illustrations were not clear. Take a look at Ikea assembly instructions, then you'll have a good template.

Unfortunately, we discovered that no assembly instructions were included! Now we are craftsmen and were able to assemble 99% of the boxes with a little more time. The quality of the screws is very poor! I wonder why they always have to save on these important parts! I then used my own much better quality screws. Considering how much these boxes cost to produce, it is absolutely not right to save money here!
Unfortunately, I can only recommend it to a limited extent, because I would have expected a little more performance.

Is very easy to assemble, very stable and looks good. Everything done correctly.

They are beautiful and practical, so simply perfect!

The ordering process in the online store went smoothly. We were kept up to date at all times from ordering to delivery. The garbage can box was very well packaged in four packages (3-bin box and accessories) and was delivered complete after 5 working days. The assembly using the BioStefan download support could be completed in approx. 2.5 hours. Important information - the assembly (we did it this way), especially the screw connections, should be carried out without a cordless screwdriver, the risk of "over-tightening" the sheet metal screws would have been too great for us.
Price/performance fits and everything else is also wonderful - anytime again 😀

We ordered the Stahlfred model in a 5-bin configuration (2 narrow + 2 large garbage can boxes + 1 parcel box).

DELIVERY
The initial delivery went well overall. The boxes are delivered in several individual parts and packages, which are all neatly labeled so that you can easily find your way around.
Unfortunately, we were missing some parts, but these were delivered free of charge.
Several parts were scratched. As compensation, one of the parts was delivered new and a free touch-up pen was provided.

ASSEMBLY
The rough assembly of the individual boxes went well for two people, but the instructions contained several errors and inaccuracies - especially with the parcel box.
When it came to assembling the 5 individual boxes into an overall construction, the fun had unfortunately stopped. One reason for this was that the lids are just as wide as the boxes, which means that even minimal deviations and design-related problems cause the lids to scrape against each other when opening and closing. In the end, after a lot of trial and error, we were only able to solve this problem by deliberately putting individual boxes together at a slight angle and leaving a little more space between some of the boxes. Unfortunately, the hinges supplied do not allow the lids to be adjusted in any way. This is also the case with the doors, which unfortunately means that some of them also hang slightly askew.
Another problem with balancing was that, due to the design, it was not possible to reach the adjustable feet of the parcel box. Although the base plate had specially designed recesses, these were not exactly over the feet. We were therefore forced to drill 4 new holes in the base plate so that we could balance the parcel box at all.
Other problems we had (not an exhaustive list):
- the locks were so loose that they could automatically slam shut and then leave scratches on the doorra (our solution: "lock" when open)
- the protective plate of the parcel box, which according to Bio-Stefan is an important security aspect, simply did not fit (our solution: do without the security and leave it out)
- Magnets supplied later (without rubber coating) damaged the paint (solution: Bio-Stefan sent rubberized magnets, we concealed the paint damage with a touch-up pen)

Overall, we invested many weeks of time and nerves in the assembly as well as numerous emails with customer service (always with pictures and sometimes videos), and were disappointed by the existing problems with such an expensive premium product.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
We had a lot of contact with customer service due to the assembly problems. They usually responded very quickly (within a day) and were usually friendly and helpful, but on the other hand they were not able to solve all the problems.

OPTICS
Once assembled, the design looks really good and elegant.
However, we did not find it okay that there are some deviations from the product photos on the Bio-Stefan homepage. One example: the parcel box has the words "Paketbox" prominently displayed on the handle in the photos, but this was not present on the handle supplied. When asked, the reason given was that the lettering reduces the durability of the handle. We can understand this, but then the pictures should also be updated so as not to raise false expectations. An alternative was not provided.

CONCLUSION
Overall, the boxes look very good and definitely enhance our front garden. However, we were disappointed that such a high-priced product had so many problems during assembly and we spent a lot of time and nerves with this product. The parcel box in particular had a lot of problems and therefore did not appear to be fully developed.

Order and delivery flawless, even the special order with the combination of steel and wooden doors was no problem. The wooden doors are somewhat more stable than the steel doors because there is no additional reinforcement. The assembly was a little challenging at first, but once you had assembled the first house, it became increasingly easier.
The plant light is an additional feature and a great eye-catcher. Unfortunately, some water always drips directly into the barrels when watering, as these are in the version with the lid open. It definitely deserves 5 stars in terms of appearance and quality. Thank you BIO Stefan

Now, due to my own clumsiness, I needed a spare part for the second time. And again prompt and free delivery. What can I say? There's really no such thing. Really cool people at Bio-Stefan.

The product (240l 3-bin cabinet) corresponds to the description and is surprisingly high quality for the price. And best of all, when a defect (gas pressure damper) appeared after almost 3 years, help was provided quickly, unbureaucratically and in a friendly manner. That's what I call service. Full 5 stars from us.

Addendum in July 2024
Powder coating is flaking off the employees refer to incorrect handling and are not prepared to send a repair patch as a gesture of goodwill even though the box is just 1 year old and in my opinion the flaking is not due to incorrect handling as the box was hardly ever used. I have also uploaded a photo of the flaking so that everyone can form their own opinion.

We would buy the garbage can enclosure again at any time and recommend it to others. The price-performance ratio is really great and the accessories in the online store are also recommended. The assembly instructions are written in a way that everyone can understand and the contact with the staff is friendly, competent and queries are answered immediately. From us 5 stars for the great product and the company.
