With a 5 boxes garbage bin box, you can store five garbage bins, such as residual waste, organic, paper, yellow bag, and a spare, behind a single, visually calm front. At BIO Stefan, there are four models to choose from: Dagobert (steel, compact), Alubert (aluminum, lightweight), Stahlfred (solid steel), and Holzmichl (steel with real wood front). All models are designed for 120 or 240 liter garbage bins (Stahlfred and Holzmichl also for 90 l), can be latched shut and can be expanded later in the same color. Dagobert, Stahlfred and Holzmichl can also be locked, the Alubert cannot.
Anthracite (RAL 7016) is the most affordable standard color at BIO Stefan; other RAL shades are optionally configurable for an additional charge. Delivery is made as a flatpack on a pallet via freight forwarder, and assembly is possible depending on the model with a wrench and cordless screwdriver.

The 5 boxes garbage bin box for 240 l bins is, depending on the model, 347.5 to 370 cm wide, 80 to 83 cm deep, and 121 to 126.5 cm high with lid. For 120 l bins, the width ranges between 295 and 320 cm. Allow about 10 cm of clearance on the sides at the installation site so you can fully open the doors.

Sturdy steel body: For Dagobert, Stahlfred, and Holzmichl, hot-dip galvanizing plus powder coating ensure that corrosion and UV radiation stay out permanently.
Real wood instead of foil (Holzmichl): Naturally untreated spruce wood boards are set in the powder-coated steel frame, individually paintable or oilable.
Light aluminum construction (Alubert): Powder-coated aluminum plus stainless steel A2 are rust-free and especially easy to handle.
Securely latched: Toggle lock with retrofittable key lock for Dagobert, central lock for Stahlfred and Holzmichl, latch integrated in the handle for Alubert (not lockable).
Height-adjustable feet: Compensate for unevenness on pavement, lawn edges, or slight slopes.
Soft opening: Gas pressure dampers on the lid ensure nothing slams shut; additionally, impact dampers on the door hinge for Stahlfred and Holzmichl.
Flatpack delivery: Delivered on a pallet via freight forwarder. Pre-drilled parts and an illustrated assembly manual make installation predictable.
Expandable: You can later create a 6 boxes row from the 5 boxes box in the same color by ordering additional extension elements.
Each material has its strengths. Steel is sturdy and affordable, aluminum is lightweight and rust-free, wood is warm and natural. Which model suits you depends on style, location, and budget.
Steel models like Dagobert or Stahlfred are the lowest-maintenance options and well suited for multi-family houses. Alubert, made of aluminum, shows its strengths in salty air or for easy transport. Holzmichl combines steel stability with a real wood front that can be color-coordinated with fences, terraces, or facades.
The flip lid (automatic lid) opens with gas pressure dampers and can be opened synchronously with your garbage bin via a connecting chain: deposit waste without pulling out the bin. The flip-top option is available for all four models.
With the plant roof, instead of the flip lid, a flat planting tray with a slight tilt (2.5 degrees) sits on top. Space for succulents, herbs, or summer flowers. Dagobert, Stahlfred, and Holzmichl are available in both roof variants, only Alubert uses the flip lid exclusively.
In Austria and Germany, a 5 boxes garbage bin box is usually exempt from approval: it is not considered a structural facility in the traditional sense. The decisive factor is always the respective federal state or municipality, especially for visible front gardens, multi-family houses, or parking spaces in construction prohibition zones. If in doubt, briefly check with the local building authority; very often, installation is possible without any approval.
All 5 boxes garbage bin boxes are delivered disassembled as flatpacks on a pallet via freight. Pre-drilled parts and an illustrated assembly manual make assembly predictable. The delivery includes the respective latch, all fastening parts, and the assembly instructions. For Stahlfred, Holzmichl, and Alubert, the latch is already included; for Dagobert, the toggle lock is standard and a key lock can be optionally retrofitted. You only need a wrench and a cordless screwdriver as tools.

Those who combine 120 l and 240 l bins in a row (such as small organic plus large residual and paper bins) will find dedicated combination models for mixed 120 l and 240 l rows at BIO Stefan. They are available, among others, as the Holzmichl combination and Stahlfred combination, each with a flip lid or plant roof as roof options. The central lock synchronously secures doors and lids, and the real wood front of the Holzmichl can be individually painted or oiled.
Stahlfred and Holzmichl are designed for 90, 120 and 240 litre bins, Dagobert and Alubert for 120 and 240 litre bins. With the dedicated combination models you can mix 120 l and 240 l in the same row. The exact inner dimensions are on the respective product page.
Depending on the model, the 5-bin store for 240 l bins is around 347.5 to 370 cm wide, 80 to 83 cm deep and 121 to 126.5 cm high with lid. Dagobert is the most compact version at 347.5 cm, Stahlfred and Holzmichl the widest at 370 cm. For 120 l bins the width is between 295 and 320 cm.
Yes. A 5-bin store is a closed bin enclosure for five bins: it hides general waste, organic, paper, recycling and a spare bin behind a uniform front and also protects against wind, sun and curious animals. Unlike an open bin shelter, lids and doors latch shut, and on Dagobert, Stahlfred and Holzmichl they can also be locked.
Yes. All four models are modular. You can later extend the same row to a 6-bin or larger configuration by ordering add-on units in the same colour.
The hinged lid (automatic lid) is available on all four models and is the lowest-maintenance option. The green roof is available for Dagobert, Stahlfred and Holzmichl: it turns the 5-bin store into a small planter and copes better with summer heat, but needs occasional watering.
Anthracite (RAL 7016) is the lowest-priced standard colour and is available for all models. Dagobert also comes in further RAL shades and with a wood-look front, Stahlfred and Holzmichl in up to seven RAL shades. Further RAL shades can be configured for a surcharge.
Clean powder-coated surfaces with lukewarm water and a soft sponge. The Holzmichl wooden front can optionally be treated with stain or oil. Moving parts such as hinges stay smooth-running thanks to their galvanised surface.
Steel and aluminum models are largely maintenance-free. You can clean powder-coated surfaces as needed with lukewarm water, a soft sponge, and a mild cleaner. For the Holzmichl front, you can treat the spruce wood boards every one to two years with transparent wood stain or wood oil; this is not necessary, it is a matter of style.
