The BIO Stefan is closed on all 4 sides as well as from above. The bottom remains open. This saves costs, weight, and assembly time, which has a very positive effect for every BIO Stefan customer.

In general, we try to keep a small portion of the products in stock. However, since demand varies greatly and not everyone buys the same BIO Stefan garbage bin box, most of the goods are available on order. Here, we expect a delivery time of 7 working days for anthracite. Special colors such as silver and black, brown, or light gray have a delivery time of 4-8 weeks.
Delivery notification: For the delivery notification, we contact the recipient at least one day before delivery via SMS (electronic notification), phone, or email to jointly arrange a time window for the delivery. The delivery day is thus specified by the recipient.
Driver notification: In this case, the driver calls the recipient about one hour before delivery to announce their arrival. This allows the recipient to prepare for the receipt of the goods. However, we can only guarantee this form of notification when delivering the goods, and it is usually associated with additional costs.

Self-collection is gladly possible by appointment at our central warehouse in 4470 Enns. Please note that there are no general opening hours, so please contact us before collection. The collection must be scheduled AFTER the order and payment process and a call from our employee at the fulfillment center.

All our BIO Stefan® trash bin boxes can be beautifully combined. This is independent of dimensions. Below are 2 example photos of elegant combinations. Please simply select the respective boxes in the Bio-Stefan online shop and add them to the shopping cart to get the total price.
Alternatively, it is also possible to place a 120l trash bin inside a 240l BIO Stefan box. Many of our customers choose this option because they want a uniform appearance and appreciate the narrow ventilation slots of the 240l boxes.
The installation of the BIO Stefan® garbage bin box on sloping ground is generally possible.
Here we refer to the models Stahlfred, Holzmichl, and Alubert. These feature adjustable feet and an adjustable base strip that always remains on the ground.
It is important to have a flat surface so that doors and lids function properly. Using anchor bolts (available in the BIO Stefan accessories shop), unevenness of up to 30mm can be compensated. In principle, installation on a slope is also possible.
Yes, that is easily possible and a frequently ordered option. Please order the appropriate version of the chains & carabiners for the existing garbage bin on site. For example, if a BIO Stefan garbage bin box 3-240 is ordered here, and there are 2 pieces of 120, then the suitable version of the chain & carabiner with 120l should be ordered.
As desired, each BIO Stefan® can be expanded with additional BIO Stefans. Everything is easily possible thanks to the modular design.
The trash bin boxes have different construction structures depending on the size. For example, the 120l version always consists of 4 crossboards, while the 240l version is filled with 5 crossboards.
BIO Stefan® Dagobert garbage bin boxes are made from high-quality 1.25mm steel profiles that have been hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated.
BIO Stefan intermediate sheets are made from 0.5mm steel sheet, hot-dip galvanized and high-quality coated (roof sheet).
All hinges and locks are galvanized.
The delivered color tone is RAL 7016. Thanks to a slight hammered effect, the surfaces of the BIO Stefan are less maintenance-intensive and always look TOP-maintained. For this reason, the original BIO Stefan is always available in RAL 7016. Alternatively, in silver, black, brown, golden oak, and white gray. Alternatively, we coat your box in the color of your choice. The RAL color scale makes it possible to get the same color as your windows, your garage door, or your front door. Contact us for an individual offer.
To allow water to easily run off the lid, it is tilted forward and therefore does not run down the house facade.
BIO Stefan garbage bin boxes are made from high-quality 1.25mm steel profiles that are hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated.
BIO Stefan intermediate sheets are made from 0.5mm steel sheet, hot-dip galvanized and high-quality coated (roof sheet).
The stability is comparable to that of a car roof sheet metal.
The kit comes with an illustrated instruction manual, so assembling it together is no obstacle.
The surface should be as level as possible. A slight slope is not a problem. An optimal surface is concrete slabs or paved areas. Surfaces such as soil, gravel, or pebbles are not recommended.
Most of our models have height-adjustable feet integrated to compensate for unevenness.
BIO Stefan should be anchored with 6mm impact anchors to achieve perfect stability in harmony with the ground.
BIO Stefan garbage bin boxes are pre-drilled and must be anchored to the ground! This is to ensure that the garbage bin boxes can withstand even the strongest winds. Suitable fasteners for anchoring to the ground can be found in the BIO Stefan® webshop under the BIO Stefan accessories section.
Ground anchoring, proceed as follows:
- Assemble the BIO Stefan® garbage bin box completely.
- There are holes in the base frame of the BIO Stefan garbage bin box intended for fastening to the ground.
- Place the box in the desired position.
- Mark the ground at least at 2 of the holes.
- Drill a hole in the ground at the marked spots using a 6 mm drill bit.
- Position the BIO Stefan garbage bin box again.
- Then, using a hammer, drive the BIO Stefan impact anchor through the hole in the frame into the drilled hole in the ground so that the thread still protrudes and an M8 nut can be attached.
We point out that due to different installation locations and the related differences in wind conditions, we generally recommend fixing the boxes to the ground. However, the specific installation site may justify installation without ground anchoring. This decision is to be made by the customer.
The 4 boxes BIO Stefan garbage bin box 120-4 or 240-4 consists of 4 individual elements. Corresponding to our pillars of optimized shipping routes and packaging methods, we do without subdivision within the boxes.
The installation of the doors can be done on the left or right side (except Alubert). On both sides, the boxes are designed to be mirrored and identical, the doors can be rotated, and the hinge side can be freely chosen by the customer.
Payment is possible via bank transfer (prepayment), PayPal, IDEAL, EPS transfer, Bancontact, or credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX).
You will receive an invoice in PDF format. In the case of corporate customers, it is possible to enter the VAT identification number during the ordering process. This allows us to issue a tax-exempt invoice in the case of an intra-community delivery.
