Where can I find my assembly instructions?

The assembly instructions will be sent to you 3 times:

in the order confirmation
in the shipping confirmation
as QR code on package 1

ATTENTION: Often other e-mail addresses are used than you are used to. Paypal and other service providers have old e-mail addresses that are rarely checked. Please pay attention to this!

Is the BIO Stefan® garbage can box closed on all sides?

The BIO Stefan is closed on all 4 sides and from the top. The floor remains free. This saves costs, weight and assembly time, which has a positive effect on every BIO Stefan customer.

How long is the guarantee/warranty on BIO Stefan boxes?

What is the delivery time of the trash can box?

We generally try to keep a small proportion of the products in stock. However, as demand varies greatly and not everyone buys the same BIO Stefan garbage can box, the majority of products are available to order. We expect a delivery time of 7 working days for anthracite. Special colors such as silver and black, brown or light grey with a delivery time of 4-8 weeks.

What does driver notification or delivery notification mean?

Delivery notification: With the delivery notification, we contact the recipient by SMS (electronic notification), telephone or e-mail at least one day before delivery in order to jointly find a time slot for the delivery. The delivery day is thus specified by the recipient.

Driver notification: The driver calls the recipient approximately one hour before delivery and announces himself accordingly. This allows the recipient to prepare to receive the goods. However, we can only guarantee this form of notification when the goods are delivered and it is usually associated with additional costs.

Is it possible to pick up the garbage can box yourself?

Self-collection is possible by arrangement from our central warehouse in 4470 Enns. Please note that there are no general opening hours, so please contact us before collection. Collection must be scheduled AFTER the order and payment process and a call from our employee at the fulfillment center.

I have 120l and 240l garbage cans at home, which model is the right one?

All our BIO Stefan® waste garbage can boxes can be beautifully combined. This is independent of dimensions. Below are 2 sample photos of elegant combinations. Please simply select the respective boxes in the Bio-Stefan online store and add them to the shopping cart to get the total price.

Alternatively, it is also possible to place a 120 l garbage can in a 240 Bio Stefan box. Many of our customers choose this option as they want a uniform appearance and appreciate the narrow ventilation slots of the 240 bins.

Incline or slope in the floor - installation still possible?

It is generally possible to install the BIO Stefan® garbage can box on sloping ground.

Here we refer to the models Stahlfred, Holzmichl and Alubert. These have adjustable feet and an adjustable bottom rail that always remains on the ground.

Ensure that the surface is flat so that the doors and lids also function perfectly. Using impact anchors (available in the store BIO Stefan accessories), up to 30 mm of unevenness can be compensated for. Installation on a slope is also possible.

Is it possible to put 120l garbage cans in a 240l box and then open the lid automatically with a chain?

Yes, this is possible without any problems and is a frequently ordered variant. Please order the matching version of the chains & carabiners for the existing waste garbage can on site. For example, if you order a BIO Stefan garbage can box 3-240, and there are 2 garbage cans in 120, you should order the matching 120-liter version from Chain & Carabiner.

My BIO Stefan is lonely, can I treat it to more BIO Stefan boxes and place them next to it?

Each BIO Stefan® can be extended with additional BIO Stefans as required. Everything is possible thanks to the modular design.

Does the Dagobert garbage can box have 4 or 5 cross plates?

The garbage can boxes have different superstructures depending on their size. For example, the 120 l version always consists of 4 cross boards, while the 240 l version is filled with 5 cross boards.

What material is the BIO Stefan® garbage can box made from?

BIO Stefan® garbage can boxes Dagobert are made of high-quality 1.25 mm steel profiles, which are hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated.

BIO Stefan Intermediate sheets are made of 0.5 mm hot-dip galvanized sheet steel with a high-quality coating (roof sheet).

All hinges and latches are galvanized.

What colors are available for BIO Stefan® garbage can liners?

The color shade supplied is RAL 7016. BIO Stefan surfaces are less maintenance-intensive and always look top-class thanks to a light hammered effect. For this reason, the original BIO Stefan is always available in RAL 7016, alternatively in silver, black, brown, golden oak and white gray. Alternatively, we can coat your box in the color of your choice. The RAL color scale makes it possible to get the same color as your windows, garage door or front door. Is the cover horizontal or slightly inclined (rainwater drainage)?

To ensure that the water can easily run off the cover, it is tilted forwards so that it does not run off the house façade.

How stable are your boxes if, for example, a soccer flies against them?

BIO Stefan Garbage can boxes are made of high-quality 1.25 mm steel profiles, which are hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated.

BIO Stefan Intermediate sheets are made of 0.5 mm hot-dip galvanized sheet steel with a high-quality coating (roof sheet).

The stability is comparable to that of the sheet metal skin of a car roof.

Can you fit the BIO Stefan for me at home or can I do it myself?

The kit is equipped with illustrated instructions, so it is no obstacle to complete the assembly in pairs.

My BIO Stefan® is now here -> What should the substrate look like?

The substrate should be as level as possible. A slight slope is not a problem. An optimum substrate is concrete slabs or paved levels. Substrates such as earth, gravel or pebbles are not recommended.

Most of our models have integrated height-adjustable feet to compensate for unevenness.

How is the BIO Stefan attached to the floor?

BIO Stefan should be anchored with 6mm impact anchors to achieve perfect stability in symbiosis with the ground.

Do the BIO Stefans have to be screwed to the floor?

BIO Stefan Garbage can boxes are pre-drilled and must be anchored to the ground! This is so that the garbage can boxes can withstand even the strongest winds. You can find suitable fixings for anchoring in the ground in the BIO Stefan® web shop in the BIO Stefan accessories section.

Floor fastening, proceed as follows:

Assemble the Bio Stefan® waste garbage can box completely.
There are holes in the base frame of the Bio Stefan waste garbage can box that are intended for fixing to the ground.
Set the box to the desired position
Mark the floor on at least 2 of the holes
Drill a hole in the floor at the marked points using a size 6 drill bit
Reposition the BIO Stefan waste garbage can box
The BIO Stefan impact anchor is then hammered through the hole in the frame into the drilled hole in the floor so that the thread still protrudes and an M8 nut can be attached.

We would like to point out that we generally recommend fixing the speakers to the floor due to the different installation positions and the related differences in terms of wind. However, the respective installation site may justify an installation without floor fixing. However, this must be decided by the customer.

Are there 4 individual barrels that are bolted together, or is the 4-bin box made from one "cast"?

The 4-piece BIO Stefan garbage can box 120-4 or 240-4 consists of 4 individual elements. In accordance with our pillars of optimized shipping routes and packaging methods, we do not subdivide the boxes.

Is the door hinge on the right for all 4 units, or can it be changed?

The doors can be fitted on the left or right (except Alubert). The boxes are constructed on both sides so that they are mirrored and identical, the doors can be rotated and the stop side can be freely selected by the customer.

I would like to buy a BIO Stefan®, how can I pay?

Payment can be made by bank transfer (cash in advance), PayPal, IDEAL, EPS bank transfer, Bancontact or credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX).

You will receive an invoice in PDF format. In the case of corporate customers, it is possible to insert the VAT identification number during the ordering process. This enables us to issue a tax-exempt invoice in the event of an intra-community delivery
