Outdoor bar by the pool: anthracite sink unit with beer tap and concrete look
An outdoor kitchen as a poolside bar
This outdoor kitchen is a bar. It sits beneath the covered patio right next to the house, with beanbags and the pool in front. A beer tap is set into the worktop, beside a black sink with a faucet. Grilling is done on a freestanding grill next to it; the kitchen itself is for drinks, glasses and food prep.
The fronts are in anthracite (RAL 7016), with worktop and side panels in light concrete-look HPL. Since the side panels are made from the same material as the worktop, the whole run looks seamless.
The layout: cabinet, sink, drawers
Cabinet module with a shelf and door for glasses and drinks.
Sink module with a Franke sink and faucet in onyx black. Find more kitchens with sinks at Outdoor kitchens with sinks.
Drawer module for bar tools, bottle openers and towels. Find more models with drawers at Outdoor kitchens with drawers.
The run is designed for wall installation, so it doesn't need a rear panel. The beer tap isn't included; it's simply placed on the worktop here.
Why an outdoor kitchen without a grill makes sense
Not every patio needs a built-in grill. If you already have a grill or mainly prepare drinks and snacks by the pool, design your outdoor kitchen as a bar: sink, storage and worktop, all weatherproof. The carcass and fronts are made of powder-coated galvanized steel, and the panels are 12 mm HPL compact laminate. The kitchen is 100% weatherproof.
