What size do you need for your rubbish bins? 120 litres, 240 litres, 2 boxes, 3 boxes, 4 boxes?

To ensure the box really fits, these points are important:

  • Capacity: Do you have 120 litres or 240 litres garbage bins? (Sometimes it also says 120 l or 240l on them.)
  • Number of garbage bins: 1 box, 2 boxes, 3 boxes or 4 boxes – depending on how many bins you want to accommodate.
  • Space on site: Measure briefly: width, depth, and whether the doors can open well. This way you can more easily find the right garbage bin box – without later realizing it’s too tight.

Dagobert: galvanized steel sheet with slats

Dagobert is made from galvanized, high-quality coated steel sheet; the hinges, locks and plug connections are also galvanized. The organic coating (35 µm on hot-dip galvanized Z225 sheet) provides corrosion and UV resistance in accordance with EN 10169-2021 and a scratch resistance of Clemen ≥ 2 kg. Slats all around create an airy look. In addition to anthracite, there are five other colors and three wood-look fronts (metal with a wood look), each available for an additional charge.

Alubert: lightweight aluminium garbage bin box

Alubert is made from powder-coated aluminium, corrosion-resistant stainless steel (A2) and galvanized steel. It is lightweight, quick to assemble and has height-adjustable feet with 10–75 mm of adjustment. The lock is integrated into the handle, and gas struts open the lid gently. One size fits 120-l and 240-l bins. Colors: anthracite, black and grey aluminium.

Stahlfred: solid steel, fully enclosed

Stahlfred is made from hot-dip galvanized steel with a powder coating and robust sheet thickness. The housing is fully enclosed (the base is open); the steel door and lid are secured with a central lock, which is included. Height-adjustable feet (15–60 mm) and an adjustable base rail compensate for uneven surfaces. Available with either a hinged lid or a planting roof, in anthracite (RAL 7016).

Holzmichl: garbage bin box with real wood front

Holzmichl is a fully featured model: the housing is made from hot-dip galvanized, powder-coated steel, while the front doors have an insert made from real spruce wood set in a surrounding frame. You can oil or paint the wooden front, and the inserts can be replaced if needed. A central lock, height-adjustable feet (15–60 mm) and the choice between a hinged lid and a planting roof are included, just as with Stahlfred.

Lockable boxes: rubbish stays in, animals stay out

A good garbage bin box should not only look good; it should also provide protection. Depending on the model, the locking mechanism works differently:

  • Stahlfred and Holzmichl: the lid and door can be secured with a central lock, which is included.
  • Dagobert: standard toggle locking; a key lock is available as an accessory.
  • Alubert: locking mechanism integrated into the handle.

All boxes protect your bins from wind, rain and curious animals, while the lids and doors are easy to open.

Modular and expandable: Your garbage bin box grows with you

Want to add another bin later? All four lines are modular, so you can add more boxes from the same line. This way, a 2 boxes can later become 3 boxes or 4 boxes. Simply send us your order number or a photo of your box, and we’ll send you a quote for the extension.

Optional with a planted roof: for Dagobert, Stahlfred and Holzmichl

Instead of the hinged lid, you can choose a planting roof for Dagobert, Stahlfred, and Holzmichl. It adds greenery to the entrance area and looks friendlier than a standard lid. Alubert is only available with a hinged lid. For Stahlfred and Holzmichl with a planting roof and 240 L bins, the tipping mechanism may work only to a limited extent depending on the bin model, so check your bins' dimensions beforehand.

Driveways and parking areas are rarely perfectly level. The adjustable feet let you compensate for unevenness without having to redo the surface. Stahlfred and Holzmichl offer 15 to 60 millimeters, while Alubert offers 10 to 75 millimeters. Dagobert does not have adjustable feet, but a slight slope is not a problem for it. If the adjustment range specified on the product page is not sufficient, you can arrange individual modules next to one another in steps, for example three 1 box units instead of one 3 boxes unit.
